UNLV Undergraduate Students - Overload Petition

You must obtain authorization from your academic advisor and other required authorities (specific to each college). Complete the Credit Overload Petition Form and indicate the specific number of credits in which you wish to be enrolled. Once you have secured the appropriate signatures, submit approved form to the Summer Term Office or the Office of the Registrar (SSC-C), where the courses will be manually enrolled. The form should also include the five-digit call number(s) of the additional course(s) to be added.

UNLV Graduate Students - Overload Petition

Graduate students may take no more than 15 credits for the entire Summer Term. Graduate students must complete the Graduate College Overload Authorization Form on the Grad Rebel Gateway Portal and obtain approval from the Graduate College.

Non-Degree Seeking Students - Overload Petition

Complete the Credit Overload Petition Form and indicate the specific courses and number of credits in which you wish to be enrolled. After completion, the petition must be reviewed and approved by the Director of Summer Term. Submit approved form to the Office of the Registrar (SSC-C), where the courses will be manually enrolled.
